Last year, Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne put an end to their romance and now, she is opening up about their co-parenting relationship that followed their split! That being said, Cole praised the former One Direction member for how ‘great’ of a dad he is!

As fans know, the two artists share a son named Bear together.

Despite having a baby, their relationship was pretty short-lived, the two breaking up back in July.

At the time, Liam took to his Twitter page to write: ‘Cheryl and I are very sad to announce we are going our separate ways. It’s been a tough decision for us. We still have much love for each other as a family. Bear’s our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.’

Now in a pretty emotional interview for The Telegraph, Cheryl got candid about the way motherhood has changed her but also about co-parenting with Liam.

‘Everything changed for me from the very moment Bear was born. All of my worries, anxieties, and feelings of emptiness went [away]. I knew the word ‘fulfilled’ but I had never known what it felt like. Money, fame, success should’ve made me feel that but it never did, which is probably why I looked for it in relationships with men, but that never worked either.’

She went on to reveal that she is the more strict parent while Liam is not.

Cole praised his skills as a father and once again, mentioned that compared to her, he is much softer on Bear.

When asked if she is currently looking for love, Cole made it clear that she isn’t since her child is her greatest love.

However, she’s also not ruling out romance forever – it’s just something she’s not even thinking about in the present.
