Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have been dating for more than five years, but they have always kept quiet about their romance. And, according to a new report, the couple has a very good reason to not talk publicly about their relationship.
“They keep it private and protect it for the most part because they don’t want to disrupt either of their families,” says an insider. “Jamie rarely has her over to his house, and they mostly hang out separately from their kids.”

The Oscar winner and Dawson’s Creek alum had been secretly dating for two years before Us Weekly broke the story in March 2015. Foxx has two daughters from previous relationships – Corinne, 25, and Annalise, 10 – and Holmes is the mom of 12-year-old Suri who she shares with ex-husband, Tom Cruise.
Us Weekly reports that Holmes and Foxx have “great chemistry and a romantic relationship,” and they are also “close friends.”
Back in February, there was speculation that the couple had split when Foxx said at an Oscars charity gala that he was single. An insider claims that Foxx’s comment was about him not being married, and he and Holmes are still together.
Not long after Foxx’s “single” comment, cameras spotted him and Holmes taking a romantic stroll through New York City’s Central Park on March 25th. This was the first time the couple had been spotted together since December 2018, but in private, insiders say that Foxx and Holmes “see each other more than people would think.”
Sources also claim that when Foxx and Holmes are together, it just works, and they have a lot of fun. Holmes is reportedly “smitten” with Foxx, and even though some people might think the way they do things is weird, it works for them.

Not only is Holmes and Foxx’s relationship still going strong, but the 51-year-old actor has also bonded with Suri. An insider says that Foxx makes Suri laugh, and he is also a good influence. The source adds that because Foxx has daughters of his own, he knows how to talk to girls, and he gets deep with Suri about school, boys, and bullies, and Holmes loves that Foxx can talk with her daughter about those things.
Holmes has also reportedly bonded with Corinne and Annalise, and she spends time with them even when Foxx isn’t around. Holmes is especially tight with Annalise because she has been in her life since she was very young.
