Roger was a member of both of these churches. He had previously worked as a welder fabricator and had graduated from Point Pleasant High School in the class of 1994. However, he was now a stay-at-home dad and carer. In the past, Roger had also played the drums for the band known as the Gloryland Believers.

He loved the Lord and was devoted to his family, as well as to his church and his community, and he was a caring and devoted husband and father. He was a Christ-centered servant who took great delight in meeting the requirements of his family, especially those of his wife and children. Roger was a nature lover and a keen outdoorsman who also liked hunting. He and his wife had a lot of fun exploring the countryside on their 4-wheeler. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a grin that could make the darkest room seem bright. In addition, he took great pride in his assortment of bandanas, cowboy hats, and boots. In addition, weightlifting was another one of Roger’s favorite hobbies.

He is survived by his wife Olivia A. (Hope) DeWeese, as well as his children John William DeWeese, Lilly Dawn DeWeese, Rosetta Jane DeWeese, and Tristan Roger Lane DeWeese.
